📖 About This Attraction

The spiritual sanctuary and Akhra of mystic humanist philosopher Fakir Lalon Shah, where thousands of Baul singers convene for musical congregations.

Located in Chheuriya near Kushtia city along the Gorai River, the Lalon Academy complex houses the mausoleum of Fakir Lalon Shah (1774–1890). Celebrated for preaching universal humanism without caste or religious dogma, the shrine hosts international folk festivals during Dol Purnima and Lalon’s death anniversary in October.
