Exquisite 18th-century terracotta twin dochala brick temple constructed by Brajamohan Thakur, a gem of indigenous Bengali temple architecture.
Built around the mid-18th century by Brajamohan Thakur, an official of the Natore Raj, this twin-hut (Jor-Bangla) temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath. The two joined dochala structures replicate rural thatch-roof houses in permanent brick masonry, adorned with fine terracotta bas-relief tiles depicting scenes from the Ramayana, battle armadas, and royal court ceremonies.
