The idyllic riverbank country retreat of Rabindranath Tagore on the Nagor River, where he pioneered agricultural cooperatives and authored timeless poems.
Located in Atrai upazila on the serene bank of the Nagor River, Patisar was the heart of the Tagore family's Kaligram Pargana estate. It was here that Rabindranath established a rural micro-bank using his 1913 Nobel Prize money to liberate local farmers from moneylenders. The museum exhibits his house-boat "Padma" anchors, vintage photos, manuscripts, and personal bathtub.
