📖 About This Attraction

The "Amazon of Bangladesh"—an ethereal freshwater flooded swamp forest where evergreen Millettia and Koroch trees emerge from emerald waters.

Located 26 kilometers from Sylhet city, Ratargul is an evergreen flooded swamp forest covering 504 acres. During the rainy season, the water level rises 20-30 feet, submerging the forest floor. Travelers glide silently through the branches aboard small paddle boats to observe kingfishers, herons, and freshwater snakes.
