📖 About This Attraction

Historical 1-kilometer freshwater urban lake built in 1943, featuring illuminated jogging walkways, musical fountains, and paddle boating.

Excavated in 1943 during the British Raj to tackle local drinking water shortages and beautify the town, Shakuni Lake spans an impressive 1,000 meters in length. Beautifully revitalized by the municipality, it now features floating restaurants, botanical gardens, a musical water fountain, pedestrian walkways, and recreational pedal boating.
