Formed in 2006 at St. Camillus Church in Silver Spring, MD, the Bangali-American Christian Association serves Bangali Catholics in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. It’s about promoting social, cultural, educational, religious, and welfare programs to build unity and friendship. Open to Christians from Bangladesh or India, Bangla speakers, and families—including non-Bangali spouses—it’s a hub for preserving faith and heritage.

Services and Programs:

They offer the SEARCH program for youth growth, scholarships for top SAT scorers, and relief for local families or Bangladesh disasters. Events include Bangla masses with visiting priests, talent shows for kids, Easter/Christmas parties, sports days, and summer picnics. Liturgical dances at vigils add cultural flair.
