📖 About This Attraction

Surreal crystal-clear turquoise quarry lake set against jagged limestone mounds and emerald Khasi hills directly along the Indian frontier in Tekerghat.

Formerly an active limestone quarry operated by the Chhatak Cement Factory in Tekerghat, Niladri Lake filled naturally over decades with subterranean crystal spring water. Framed by striking limestone mounds on the Bangladeshi side and towering green mountains of Meghalaya right across the international boundary, it is beloved for its tranquil kayaking and photography.
