How rankings work

AllOfBD publishes estimates from catalogue data so you can compare products transparently. This is not credit scoring, not a bank decision, and not financial advice.

  • Loans: estimated EMI (reducing balance) + parsed processing fee + optional insurance → estimated true cost. Lower estimated cost ranks higher.
  • Cards: estimated net annual cost = annual fee − illustrative lounge/perk offset (0.5% of assumed annual spend, capped at fee). Lower net cost ranks higher. Cashback rates are never invented.
  • DPS / FDR / Sanchayapatra: higher published current rate ranks higher.
  • Soft eligibility: amount/tenure/income bounds from the catalogue. Soft fails are demoted, not hidden as “rejected”.
  • Missing rates exclude a product from ranking rather than inventing numbers.
  • Watchlist emails notify when a published (non-pending) rate changes — informational only.
