Bangladesh Prize Bond. The National Savings Directorate page, updated 14 April 2026, states a face value of Tk 100. Each draw, for each series, pays one first prize of Tk 6,00,000, one second prize of Tk 3,25,000, two third prizes of Tk 1,00,000, two fourth prizes of Tk 50,000, and forty fifth prizes of Tk 10,000. Draws are held every three months, on 31 January, 30 April, 31 July, and 31 October. A bond comes under a draw only after at least two months have passed from the sale date printed on the bond. A winning bond is not returned; the face value printed on the bond is paid together with the prize money. The prize must be claimed within two years of the scheduled draw date. Twenty percent tax is deducted at source from the prize money, and the prize is paid after that deduction. The page does not state an interest rate.
